"The saxophone
player was right".

I’m working as a waiter now at Cafe Journal in New York’s Manhattan area. I’m studying photography and preparing five free English courses on OM Personal English www.ompersonal.com.ar I am going to be a professional photographer.

When I first came to the USA, I looked for work. After a long day of job hunting, I went back home on the subway. I was feeling a little sad.

Then, the subway stopped at the 14th Street station and a man with a saxophone came into my subway car. He stood there and said loudly, ”Money can protect your ears.” He then played the worst music I ever heard. My ears were actually hurting. He was right. I got up and gave him some money just so he would be quiet and stop the pain in my ears.

I said to myself, ”Wow, it’s amazing that a bad saxophone player can make money in New York!” It was then that I knew that I could succeed wherever I went.
